The melting of snow and ice the past two days revealed the long-anticipated arrival of spring. It's been a long winter. Even though the appearance of "green grass" is mostly the sprouting of wild onions in the field, we will take green where we can get green. And we'll accept a thorn extending amid tiny buds on a rose branch as well. Just grow!
