Local Amish builders constructed the cabins at Dry Hollow Farm in 2016 and 2021. On 63 acres of woods and pasture we raise Jacob sheep for wool and Nigerian Dwarf goats for milk from which we craft artisan goat milk soap of many varieties. We are located five miles outside of Huntingdon, Tennessee, home of the Dixie Performing Arts Enrichment Center and 25 minutes from Bethel University. We offer a peaceful rural setting with plenty of space to roam.

Staying on the Farm

Our guests have the opportunity to interact with a variety of farm animals. Our flock of goats welcome guests with interest as they eagerly await snacks of shelled peanuts or animal crackers (available for cabin guests). Our sheep are more skittish but can be viewed from a distance (usually in the back fields). Chester our general farm dog will greet every visitor. He is people-friendly, but likes to bark at new arrivals. Our cadre of livestock guarding dogs are assigned specific pastures to protect flocks from predators, including coyotes which can be very vocal at night. Free range chickens also provide constant entertainment.

Farm tours are available upon request if time allows. We also have the Dry Hollow Farm Soap Shop available for all farm visitors.

Although located in a quiet rural setting, Dry Hollow Farm is only minutes from the town of Huntingdon which offers shopping, restaurants, and a local movie theater.

Guest Access

Guests have access to all areas of the farm. It is very important that if children are present, they are supervised while visiting the property as we are a working farm. Please do not allow them to explore alone, play in the barn, or enter pastures without constant adult supervision.
