Using our Luffa Firestarters are easy!
Simply place the fire starter in your fireplace or fire pit, stack some kindling on top,
and light the paper cup. Once the kindling begins to burn, lay larger logs on top.
At Dry Hollow Farm, a small, family farm in western Tennessee, we raise organic luffa gourds as part of our farm production.
Although we primarily use luffas in a variety of exfoliating soaps (see other listings for these), we discovered these unique dried gourds make excellent fire starters. Encased in scented wax, they quickly erupt into bright, hot flames to easily start any fireplace and fire pit blaze. These fire starters will burn for a full fifteen minutes.

Our luffa fire starters contain slices of luffa gourds embedded in scented candlewax. These fire starters provide a long-burning, low flame for easily starting fireplace or fire pit blazes. Each starter carries a pleasing fragrance.
