At Dry Hollow Farm, a small, family farm in western Tennessee, we raise organic luffa gourds as part of our farm production. Although we primarily use luffas in a variety of exfoliating soaps (see other listings for these), we discovered these unique dried gourds make excellent firestarters. Encased in scented paraffin wax, they quickly erupt into bright, hot flames to easily start any fireplace and fire pit blaze. These firestarters will burn for a full fifteen minutes.
