Insect pollinator houses provide safe havens for pollinators beneficial for every garden, orchard, and greenhouse.
These kits include one (1) Dry Hollow Farm dipper or bottle gourd grown organically here in Tennessee. We include ten (10) Dry Hollow Farm luffa gourd slices of varying sizes and colors. The luffa gourds provide tiny holes and crevasses sought by insect pollinators for shelter close to gardens and orchards. Predrilled holes drain any rain water to avoid puddling inside the gourd house.
We also include a piece of sandpaper for smoothing edges and gourd surfaces (if desired), a wire for hanging your finished pollinator house, a packet of ten luffa seeds for you or your child’s personal garden propagation, and a bookmark (optional, for coloring).
Our insect pollinator kits do not require or include glues, pastes, or additives to completely build a functional, beneficial natural pollinator house.
