We suggest first softening each slice in water, then gently using as a facial exfoliant. Bacteria remains on the luffa and can be disposed of immediately.
Our Dry Hollow Farm luffas are organically-grown and hand harvested. We use only a weak bleach solution for basic removal of bacteria after harvest, so natural luffa coloration remains without the use of harsh, chemical cleansers.
